Whether it’s a family’s first baby or their tenth, a doula can help make the birth and postpartum experience better. Today, a doula is defined as follows:​
a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

What is a Prenatal Massage?

Massage  during your pregnancy is a very complimentary choice to your prenatal care.

Prenatal massage relieves discomfort that is experienced during your pregnancy. Some very common symptoms during pregnancy are: back aches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches, swelling of hands and feet and sinus congestion. Massage during pregnancy can reduce your stress mentally and physically. Helps improve blood and Lymph circulation, helps improve relaxation, which aids in a better nights sleep.

What will my first session be like?

On your first session you will need to fill out an in-take form, with past and present medical history. Also list your reasons for scheduling your massage therapy appointment. From there we will discuss and formulate some short-term goals for your first session. 

Do you treat patients with severe health problems?

Yes, some health conditions might require a doctor's prescription for massage therapy.
